                          MEET OUR NEW MEMBERS

The Evangelism Committee interviewed our most recent new members.  We thought you would like to know a little something about each of them and we welcome them into our church family.

RICHARD E. ANGSTADT, lives in Shillington and is married to Kasey Angstadt, who is on Calvary Consistory and chairs the Social Justice Committee.  He assisted in Vacation Bible School and Family Promise.  He works for Prudential Landis Homesales Services.  Richard thinks Calvary is a “beautiful” church…we all agree with Richard on that.  Some of Richard’s interests are Penn State, boating, and the beach.

SUSAN BAGENSTOSE, lives in Reading, and is engaged to CHRIS DIETER who also lives in Reading.  Susan and Chris are to be married in May of 2009. Calvary was recommended by a friend and from the first time they visited Calvary they felt welcomed by all.  Susan is an x-ray technician and Chris does computer work with medical systems.  Both Susan and Chris love to travel and are planning their first cruise this Fall. Susan loves the beach, and loves working out in the gym.  Chris spends a lot of his free time kickboxing, lifting weights, and running.

HARRY MORROW, lives in Shillington, and with his quality tenor voice and friendly personality, has already endeared himself to most of us in Calvary Church.  He candidly says “money” brought him to Calvary as a paid soloist and section leader in the choir.  After section leaders were no longer paid, Harry chose to remain in the choir.  He is excited to be with a congregation that believes in music as a part of the worship service and the leadership that custom fits music into the service, including the fine musicianship.  He is appreciative of the passion of Pastor Steve, his interpretations of old things in new ways and seeking yet another advanced degree and inspiring others outside our own church.  Harry is employed by Wyeth Pharmaceuticals.  Harry’s wife Jean shares her musical talents with St. Anthony of Padua church and their son David is a senior at Governor Mifflin. Golfing, music, and cooking are some of Harry’s favorite pastimes.  He is looking forward to getting into the kitchen with Pastor Steve and Eddie Guldin.
