Nursery and Kindergarten

Pied Piper School first opened its doors in September of 1970. Owned by Calvary Reformed Church, we are located in the historic Centre Park District of Reading, Pa.

Pied Piper School is a private non-profit school, which is licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, and certified by the Department of Public Welfare.

Our school strives to meet the needs of pre-school aged children in an educational environment that stresses the Christian model of love, consideration, sharing and respect for all persons.

Because we believe that each child is a unique individual of intrinsic worth, our skillful, loving staff encourages all children to progress at the pace which is most comfortable for them.

Children are admitted to our school without regard to race, color, religious creed, ancestry, national origin or sex. They are admitted in order of registration, according to the available spaces in the various classes A waiting list is always maintained.

We strive to provide a positive, exciting first educational experience for children, in order that:

each child will feel confident and valued.
each child will discover the joy of independent learning.
each child will receive positive reinforcement for social, emotional and academic progress.

Registration fee is $25. Tours of the school may be scheduled through the school office. We are open year-round.

We are open from 6:30 to 5:30 weekdays.

Class time is 9:00 to 12:00
